Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant vitamin protecting cell membranes and lipids against oxidation. This vitamin E is complimented with selenium for a synergistic effect.  It is essential for maintaining the integrity, function and flexibility of cell membranes. Vitamin E is also helpful in preventing harmful free-radicals from attacking the body.
